This is one of those books that I started, but only finished because I couldn't look away.. The writing and grammar and even the content was a train wreck - yet I couldn't stop staring. The main idea of the story was so unrealistic. Not because a hot guy can't like a fat girl, but because of how quickly he feels like he's "in love" with her and the fact that she forgives him for the way he acts. No one should ever be treated like that or be suddenly so accepting of someone who did.
Besides the plot issues, gosh this thing needs an editor. I feel like the book was taken straight off of Wattpad without any editing or even a glance over.

I'm super glad she chose the right guy I'm the end and that's what got it the extra star. I was so afraid for most of the book that she would chose the wrong guy. There's a set up for book two at the end, but I'm not interested at all.

The Hottie and the Fatty eBook Segunda L Reviews
Where to start with this book... First thing the grammar was absolutely horrible! One or two errors is fine but it was the same stupid mistakes over and over again. Honestly, I've read a book written by a twelve year old that's better than this. The character progression makes no sense and neither does the ending. Jared couldn't have gone from calling Samara fatty to liking her within seconds. The flow was unnatural. And the ending made no sense. Jared and tried barely had any interaction. This book I'd horrible. Instead of reading this, a great similar Book is Reasons I fell for the funny fat friend by cassie mae. Much better than this book.
I very much enjoyed the story and am excited for the next one. Ps the ending is a cliffhanger, which such but leaves a lot left open
This book is an absolute train wreck. I honestly don't even know how I painfully slogged through the disgusting grammar, one dimensional characters, tissue-thin plotline, and disgustingly fake teen angst; but I managed only so I could hopefully be a warning to others.
Don't bother.
I loved this book. It was a realistic view of a spoiled teenager who finds love. Jared is a jerk. And Samara is a shy girl with many layers. I don't understand the bad reviews but to each their own. It does end with a cliffhanger and I hope the author releases the second part soon. I also hope it's edited better.
I gave this book three stars because of the ending. It would have been a higher rating but I hate books that end like that without a warning. Note to authors include cliffhanger warnings. They really suck when your engrossed and the book just ends. I really hope there is a second book with an ending. I don’t understand why it just couldn’t be a longer book and have a conclusion. I know I’m whining but seriously I’m so annoyed right now.
For some reason the dynamic of the writing changed. It went from decent on the first chapter and then suddenly completely down hill. Multiple errors, horrible dialogue, at one point I skimmed to the end because I needed to know how this trainwreck was going to end.
Spoiler He gets the car, she loses weight falls in love with her neighbor and in the end he asks her bff to stay and then that's it.
Don't be waste your time on this book, I'm sorry I did, this was a horrible bit of teenage fanfiction, at one point I believe I fell asleep, if I could give it no stars I would.
What a pleasantly surprising great read. I loved it. It covers a lot of topics. And, Jared is a great leading man. Granted he's a jerk, but there's no sugar coating it with him. I was so pleased how the author gradually transformed this character from a jerk we couldn't stand, to a stand up kind of guy. Yet, we could still identify him as being that same person from page one. If that makes any sense.
I actually found myself smiling and laughing at his ignorance. It's all a facade. It's a defense mechanism. For what? That's left to be seen. But I really enjoyed this read. I'm upset because I had no idea this was not a standalone book. So now I have to wait patiently for book two. But I'm not very patient. Lol. Please hurry with book two. Loved it! Great read!
