I just love Abbey and the Big Bad. To the Universe he is The Biggest Badass there is, but to Abbey and his baby daughter he is a cream puff. It is so sweet to see how much he cares about them. He promised her back in the beginning that he wouldn't invade Earth, even though it would be very easy to do. So as long as they are safe, so is Earth. I have really enjoyed this series and now in the next one we get to read about Abbey's friend. Can't wait. I definitely recommend this. Oh, it lost a star cuz it's in present tense, I really hate that. But since I like the story so much I read it anyway. Enjoy! 😀

I thing all the others reviews resumed enough of what an awesome story it is. I m waiting with impatience for the next one now, and the next one and the next after that. Fantastic world and characters and very well written. I definitively recommend
Tarak and Abbie have survived an attack on Earth. They will be prepared next time. Kenna welcomes the new addition and Kordollians are settling in, as they build their new home. Great story with so much love and hope to build on.
Another great story in this series. I just couldn't put it down. This one wasn't as exciting as the first book (1-3) but I did enjoy it - I wish more had been made of trip to town. Overall, the imagery was vivid; the essentials made sense, the development of their romance warming.

I hope this author proves to be as disciplined & dedicated to writing as JAK so we can count on lots more from her. I originally got #4 & #5 through my Unlimited membership but since I love rereading books - today I went back & bought them. I think as her popularity grows, prices will too!
I enjoyed this installment immensely. All the things I love are spoilers though, so take my word for it that this continuation of Abbey and Tara is story is well loved. I am very pleased that Anna revisited the couple as I am a firm believer that pregnancy isn't an end to an adventure. My one disappointment is that Aunt Kenna's mate was not one found with the rescues. I would love for her to have a happy ending with her love. My next curiosity is that I eagerly await a book that involves the Silent One. My curiosity is at 'killed the cat's level of excitement. Keep writing please!!!
Excellent ending to Tarak's & Abbey's story; there was good vs bad scenes, some sex scenes, fast-paced action & very good fight scenes. This is a HEA story & it has some characters that have been mentioned in other books in this series.

Syncorp & 2 other alien worlds (1 of them being the home world of Tarak & Xal) are they bad guys in this story & even though Abbey warns them not to kidnap her because Tarak will come after them in order to rescue her they did it anyway. & Tarak along with many of his soldiers come after them & not only does Tarak rescue Abbey but all of the others that were experimented down there too.

This book was excellent!
I frakkin LOVE these! This is a continuation of the story from the first 2. I hadn't liked the hero that much in the third book even though it was well written and an enjoyable story. I hope the author focus returns to warriors, armor, and swords. I would love if she could follow the other elite soldiers as they fight the bugs and find love. Wonderful story telling. Great world building. Love the characters and how feisty they women are.
