This is one of those great cookbooks that make you want to read every word while your child goes "they didn't eat that nu uhhhhh". I loved it. From the fried chicken and sweet potato fritters -- and the pictures will have you drooling -- to the rabbit pie and cracklin' bread -- this book will have you looking at southern food in a whole new way. Required reading for kids who think that opening a can to get the ravioli is too much work.
I love to cook, and I especially like to cook using southern recipes, so you'll understand how excited I was to get this recipe ebook for free. The recipes did not disappoint, either. The instructions are easy to read and understand. The recipes use ingredients that you probably already have on hand or can easily be found in your local grocery store. No hitting the online search engine for ingredient ts that you don't even know what they are or how they taste. Nothing beats and old-fashion southern recipe.
