Pinback - Blue Screen Life (2001)

Download
Although it has been subject to countless plays in the past two years, Blue Screen Life only recently revealed its true, sad beauty to me. Oft overlapping voices within their hypnotic dream pop develop like a Polaroid, gradual nuances taking shape until completely transcending how it all began. While the whispers of Rob Crow and Zach Smith don't demand your attention, they are the key element within, woven between the popping basslines and slick guitar like velvet threads coated in melancholia, hitting a sweet spot that makes the record comfortingly—and hauntingly—personal.

Recommended tracks: "BBtone" / "Penelope"

  1. Its great to see that people are sharing quite profitable information with each other and now we can move our selves to a new era.
